Welcome to Michael Libbe Photography. The images you find here represent a range of subjects I enjoy. I primarily focus on birds and other wildlife. I live in the Orlando, Florida area and I take advantage of our year round beautiful weather and abundant bird populations. Many locations I frequent are less than an hours drive. The Central Florida area has many reserves, parks and sanctuaries that make being an outdoor photographer very rewarding.

I hope you enjoy the images here and that you will comment on them or contact me for additional information. Please click on the Contact link if you are interested in licensing any of my images.

Enjoy!

Your photographs are great. I like Colorful Start and Roseate Spoonbill Feeding very much. I miss Florida, and your photographs remind me why. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes.

I purchased the photo of the Black Skimmer with the chick on her/his bill. I live in a hotel for months at a time for work, and this photo personalizes and graces an otherwise rather boring space. As I recently mentioned, your work gives me great pleasure and inspiration for my own photography. Cody Sontag

I can't believe that so many people don't know that coyotes live in Florida. They need to get out in the woods more often. In Columbia County, near Fort White, FL, they are over-running some places. People should have the proper respect for them, as they will kill and eat family pets, even good-sized dogs, and livestock. THEY ARE WILD ANIMALS!! I live in western Palm Bay, FL, and heard the unmistakeable sound of several of them yipping, howling, etc. about 5 nights ago, about 2AM.

Your photography is inspiring. I'm a bit of a nature photographer myself, especially the beaches & tidpools in our area. I'm thrilled to hear you plan to visit our Oregon Coast this spring. I'm confident you will enjoy it. We have a small B&B 6 miles south of the village of Yachats, 19 miles north of Florence. Here the Siuslaw National Forest meets the wonderful exposed basalt rock & sandy beaches of the Pacific. I'm including our website which has numerous links that you might find helpful. Let me know if I can help in anyway with your travel planning or questions you might have about the Oregon Coast.
